Kon'taq'ma (species)

A species of terrestrial cephalopod that inhabits the undergrowth. The are barely bigger than a watermelon and tend to congregate on the ceilings of caves waiting to ambush prey.  They latch onto the base of the skull and siphon spinal fluid out of the back of the neck.
