Chroma

"Honestly, whatever am I going to do with you?"

On first glance this man may seem to be a walking enigma. His past shrouded in smoke and an ulterior motive hiding behind a knowing and mocking smile. Those privy to his thoughts soon find a domestic and hard-working servant who holds tight to etiquette as if his life depends on it. He is filled with much knowledge of the past, but never speaks of his own but to reminisce about this or that hobby that has since been tossed to the wayside. Despite this he isn’t stern or stiff. He much prefers to tease even through his much outdated speech patterns; throwing out prodding words and then waving off the consequences with a turn of a hand.

To his contract holders he is reliable, never a step late or out of place. He is fully dedicated to fulfilling what he considers to be his duty. Chroma goes so far as to confirm how his holder wants their wishes to be granted, to ensure that there is no dissatisfaction when it comes time for them to pay the price. 

Backstory

Chroma doesn’t speak much on his past. Neither the people he’s seen nor where he comes from, though he takes pains to clarify that he isn’t a true demon and does not come from hell. He is especially close lipped about his home plane, grief and longing mixed in his gaze when he thinks of his old home and family.  

He came to this material plane about 600 years ago. He’s seen the cycle of mortal death, experienced much heartbreak and loss, but also gained an indomitable strength of will. He carries his scars inside with pride and is willing to tread a path of pain to accomplish the goals he has.
