Antoni seems to everyone like a weird, apathetic kid who doesn't participate in school or hangout with his friends, but he just has different priorities. He works part-time on the weekend and cares for his younger siblings while his mother works. This leaves him with little free time. For school, he just doesn't do a lot of the work because he thinks it's a waste of his time and tries to scrape by. He does pay attention to classes he likes or finds important (i.e. magic & fighting classes.)
Antoni used to be taken care of by his older brother, but after his father and later his brother left on their expeditions, he was left alone. After his brother's group didn't return, Antoni was left to grow up fast and fill his brother's place; Something he feels entirely unqualified for. He looks after two sisters and a brother as well as housework.
While he's responsible and mature for his family, Antoni isn't super emotionally mature. He tries not to care about anything or get close to his friends cause that's what being a cool man is to him. He also gets defensive and angry easily with people he doesn't like.

Summary
Though he loves his family and tries to be the best brother, he can regretfully be short with his younger siblings. Sometimes he breaks promises of taking them to the park or won't help them because he's too tired or busy. Still, he tries his best.
While he wasn't very attached to his father having been young when he left--his brother on the other hand was his world. He was a sweet, patient, and strong person. Antoni looked up to him a lot. He was the kind of person who looked after all his siblings equally, mediated arguments fairly, played with them, cooked for them, was wonderful to talk to when you felt bad, and fought all dangers. Before he left he gave Antoni the family cameo passed onto him to keep safe until he returned. Antoni's personality started to retreat after he heard the news of his brother.
After a while though, Antoni stopped crying when his mom asked him to look after his siblings. He adjusted to being the older brother and his personality returned a bit, but somewhat extremely. While he can be very jokey and energetic with friends, he's a bit much. He doesn't take things seriously, especially when it's about himself or serious subjects. It makes him uncomfortable. He also likes to make fun of everything, especially school and all the "popular" kids.
When he does participate, it's only for his magic based classes. The one thing he's determined to better himself in and succeed at is his combat magic. He uses a form of tool magic that alters the structure and shape of his ferns to be as hard as steel to cut deep or form tools. In his spare time he's nearly perfected quickly forming a simple sword and dagger, but bigger complex weapons take him a while and still turn out a bit janky. He's not a great witch, but he's practices lots.
With his friends, Antoni didn't have a close friend circle, but he liked belonging to a group. He didn't want to break cool and be vulnerable with them. Guys can't do that. But after he started talking with Sahar in one of his magic classes, he realized how much better he felt in that class with her. He wasn't as cloudy or angry, he felt good. Antoni began to notice how bitter and mean his old friends were--how he was. He slowly stopped talking with them and started hanging out with Sahar and Eunbi.
Antoni got better, but he didn't change over night. Especially when Owein was invited into the friend group, Antoni was really mean to him. He made a lot of jabs at him disguised as jokes. Sahar didn't realize this until Owein told her and she set Antoni straight. She told him how shitty he was being and how much he hurt Owein, which shocked him. He felt so low.
While it took a few awkward weeks, Antoni and Owein started to be real friends and it only grew from there. They were both awkward, lonely kids when they were younger and love to adventure around town, making up stories, gossiping, and pretending to be explorers. They find each other's silences and as well as baggage sharing comfortable. Antoni often doesn't have free time though, so Owein's usually helping and hanging at Antoni's house. Antoni's siblings love Owein.
As their friendship grew, Antoni realized he liked Owein romantically, but was afraid of his first relationship after transitioning. He doesn't talk about it lots and it mostly doesn't bother him, but sometimes he feels out of place and a fake. Not good enough to be a man.
Design
• Always dons his patron(ferns) around his chest.
•Has a fern birthmark on the left of his neck and a beauty mark on the right of his face. Also has forehead acne
• Almost always wears his cameo pin and black stud earrings or other minimal studs.
• has two white scars under his chest
• He's 5' 8'' and has a medium build.
•His witch hat is short and pointy with a green ribbon.
•His hair is parted to be bigger on the right and shorter on the left. It's also naturally wavy.
Trivia
• The cameo broach he wears was originally his mothers given to his brother and then to him. He told Antoni to keep it safe when he left. It is his most prized possession.
• He met his familiar, Fig, as a child on a trip to Thailand with his family. She was tiny when she walked up to him and clung on.
• To this day, Fig still loves clinging to Antoni like a baby even though she's more the adult.
• Runs every other day in the morning before school and actually enjoys. He's a really good runner too.
• An early bird who has to get up when he wakes up cause he can't get back to bed even when he wants to.

Owein
They didn't start out great friends, but now they do everything together. They love adventuring and talking about nothing, and are always there for each other. Now they're in a relationship too and very in love.
Sahar
Sahar was the one who turned Antoni's attitude around and formed their friend group. They like having random debates or making mischief and playing through games together. Honestly whatever Sahar wants to do they do.
Eunbi
These two don't hang out outside of the friend group, but still really enjoy each other's company. Antoni finds Eunbi to be really funny--especially their shared trans humor.
