Amadeus King is the secondary protagonist of AoZ, a university student who works part-time as a div hunter and exorcist within the Flock Ichor division of OBSCURA. A mysterious case, Amadeus was born with no soul, a phenomenon that has stumped both OBSCURA and the self-proclaimed supernatural expert, Ezell. In spite -- or perhaps, because -- of her lack of supernatural presence, Amadeus has a seemingly uncapped output of spiritual energy, possibly making her one of the most powerful exorcists of today. She lives with her best friend and fellow hunter, Friday, and attends university pursuing a creative writing degree.
