Azelie

Azelie is a literal vampire bat, that is to say he's half-bat and half vampire. Blood's not a necessity for him to survive, but it does grant him his longevity and access to some vampiric abilities, such as minor compulsion abilities and greater than average strength. He makes his living as a fashion designer and is quite proud of his creations and talent, though talking to him it's clear that his pride is well-founded, and he's the sort to own up to any shortcomings as well. At his core, Azelie is very giving and kindhearted, though it's often hidden behind his general flamboyance and care-free attitude. He doesn't take shit from anyone, and is quick with snappy comebacks. He hates to fight though, and will only do so if backed into a corner (or if his clothes are already ruined, don't be the one to ruin his clothes).

He's an advocate for the rights of vampires and other 'evil-aligned' beings such as werewolves and more bestial appearing demons in a world that is slowly accepting mythic beings in society. After all, every group has their bad apples. His own status leaves him as a blurred line, so as long as he keeps his blood consumption secret, he's managing to live life normally while trying to help others break down some barriers. Vigilante hunters are always an issue, though.
