Static wasn’t a robot. He couldn’t explain what he was to others, but to only 2 close friends he had.

Back in high school, while at summer camp, he found out his parents had died from their car falling off the bridge into the river. Static felt helpless. He felt numb. It didn’t feel real. Most people were trying to give words of encouragement. But nothing worked.

His heart felt hollowed. In order to find closure after the old car to build a memory of them. His dad loved the car and static remembered as a kid helping him get new parts to replace the old. Late at night he finds it. With his friend, who owns a tow truck, help get the empty car out of the water. His face cried for the last time.

Late at night while he was working on the car the power went out. While he was turning on the power he touched the tv and something happened. Immediate static shock hit him. This wasn’t a super hero transformation. It was worse. His eyes began to scramble and there was a high pitched noise. He was stuck. He was stuck not in his mind, but in a place where his body was on a thread with radio waves. He felt his soul slip almost till he shook himself back into reality. Unable to explained what happened, he was now blind and unable to understand what was going on. He put his hands to his head and felt a dial. The dial was able to clear the static from his vision so he was able to see. It numbed the pain he has been feeling and he was able to see again. By having this it made him almost a new version. He never cried again.

Static still had this memory, but he had forgotten a lot of high school. He had forgotten what happened after graduation that made him separate from his friends. To be continued...
