BIOGRAPHY

Daughter of a long line of dragons and royalty. Being a half-dragon, Máirandr suffers from the most awkward length of lifespan--longer than most she will know, but shorter than her full-blooded parent. She frequently hears tales of the escapades of her family's friends, and grew up around these people, who were heroes who came from all walks of life. But she is not a hero herself, as she was born years after the war.

As a half-dragon, Máirandr is incapable of transforming, but has a greater capacity for magical ability; along with most of her parental figures being magic-users as well, she has been studying Dark Magic for most of her life. Like her parents, she is a bit of a bookworm; additionally, she learns best through writing, and so she always keeps a combination journal-and-diary on hand to chronicle a day's experiences. She struggles with living up to the heroes that came before her. Máirandr is also a terrible liar and secret-keeper.

While a little eccentric, Máirandr is kindhearted, and her loving home life have helped her blossom into a competent young adult. Máirandr is, like her parents, a bit of a bookworm; additionally, she learns best through writing, and so she always keeps a combination journal-and-diary on hand to chronicle a day's experiences. 

 Design

Máirandr stands at 5'6" tall, with a bit of a beanpole build to her. She lacks any real sort of musculature, and very much looks like the sort of person who has mostly sat indoors studying for most of her life. Máirandr has pale skin, green eyes, and voluminous, wavy russet-brown hair. Additionally, she sports a brand/birthmark on her forehead, which is typical for people of mixed lineage where she comes from.

Máirandr, being a member of a royal family, generally sports her kingdom's colors at any given time, which are crimson and gold. Her general style is a mix of cuteness and practicality, and she has a special fondness for her cape, which was inherited from Aislind. When she grows older and ascends the throne, she begins to dress more formally, wearing the royal crown and making more of an effort to demonstrate a serious demeanor.
