Persistent, articulate, gentle --- Head-strong, unthinking, clumsy
Asa is never often far from the sheriff, Jehozadak, and for good reason, honestly. While the young deputy can be found as articulate and strong, he is, unfortunately, clumsy. In the jail house he is often found dropping things, on accident of course, while cleaning, or slipping on something or locking himself in a cell by mistake. Jeho will say he's definitely gotten better since his first few days, but Asa still has a long way to go before he can be trusted by himself for too long. But, despite this, Asa is very particular about how things are to look in the jail house, and likes things kept clean, and likes to clean up face as well. The deputy is quite gentle, especially when it comes to women, children, and the elderly, and seems to gravitate toward them when any of such groups are outside. He's also head-strong, which can be a blessing and a curse on some days, but he's a good deputy. He just hopes to be even better at his job in the future, too.

Story
Asa was raised in his parents' home, along with his five other brothers and sisters. Being one of the middle children was definitely rough, but he loved them all the same, and he loved his parents even more so. Life was good under his parents' roof. He did a lot of playing around when he was younger, and would often get in trouble with his siblings and his friends for doing foolish things, like sneaking around a neighbor's garden, or getting lost half way to a different fishing spot. Nevertheless, he grew up well enough, and ultimately went into the study of the local laws.
He was the deputy in training under the previous sheriff, and once Jehozadak came into the position, Asa was ultimately promoted to an official deputy status, at which Asa was very grateful for such a promotion. Nowadays, he's often seen beside his friend and colleague, Jeho, if he's not making sure the jail house is kept up.
