Holly Frey was the youngest of four siblings born to the Frey family in the village of Odimir, Vintga. The Frey family was one of the high-ranking families in Odimir, working as either political or religious leaders. Holly had shown great potential in psyche magic, so he was raised to become the next religious leader instead of his older sisters. He was berated for being too weak-willed and gentle, but otherwise he had a good relationship with his family.

One day, a stranger came to the village and killed everyone he knew. Only Holly escaped.

Being the sole survivor, Holly must find the murderer of his family and avenge their deaths. He's currently avoiding his destiny by helping someone find their missing friend instead. But how long can he hide his past from his new friend?
