Profile

PERSONALITY:
Adelaide is a sweet, gentle woman, who wants to live her life peacefully and in a relaxed state. She doesn't like swearing or yelling. She was always seen as a sort of mother hen among her friends and family, the one who would always look out for others and take them in if they needed help. However, she is immensely protective of those she loves. She will fight and even kill, completely without remorse, just to protect others.

APPEARANCE:
Adelaide has curly, naturally blonde hair. She has gray blue eyes, and pale skin. She takes good care of herself, and her skin is soft and pretty. She doesn't like to go into public without her hair styled and makeup on. Her go-to look is purple eyeshadow with winged eyeliner and pink lipstick. Despite maintaining such a cutesy, feminine apperance, she is in incredibly good shape. She has defined muscles, which often draws negative attention to her in the form of nasty comments made by strangers. She doesn't care, and continues to actively work out and stay in peak condition.
She likes to wear pink and other pretty pastels. She loves dresses, skirts, and jewelry, especially pearls. She also likes sailor uniform looking clothing. After she wakes up to the Wasteland, she always wears a sea captain's hat she found while wandering.

FALLOUT 4:
Before the war, Adelaide Quinn was living out the American dream. She'd graduated with honors from her high school, and started college at the Wentworth Institute in Boston as an undecided major. She took an interest in medicine. However, during her first semester, she met a man about ten years her senior, who she fell in love with. She ended up dating him, and after a month, discovered she was pregnant. She dropped out after her first year of college, and got married to the man, Raymond, who was a veteran. In September of the next year, she gave birth to her son, Andrew Gabriel Quinn. Everything seemed happy, but taking a closer look at the family, there was a growing rift between Adelaide and her husband. Adelaide didn't know what to do. She tried to show him more love to get him closer to her again, but they only drifted further apart. It escalated one night when Raymond began to scream at her, making her cry, and threatening to hit her.

That October, one morning when Adelaide was getting ready to go out to brunch with a friend, the bombs began falling. Adelaide rushed to the bomb shelter, but her husband and son never made it. She was brought in, being promised by VaultTec officials that they had her son and husband in the other room. She didn't know better, and was put into a chamber and frozen.

Adelaide woke just over 200 years later. She was in shock, seeing all the bodies around her that had thawed after their life support had failed. She hunted through the whole vault searching for her husband and son, fearing the worst. She found in the computer logs that the two had never entered. She exited the Vault, and immediately succumbed to the conditions, falling unconscious. She later is found by Dottie Edmonds, who gives her some water and helps her recover.
