Personality
Momma is above all else protective of her children. Should any harm come to them, hell hath no fury. For this reason she shies away from most of Tartarian society, as she has trouble trusting others due to a deep-rooted feeling of betrayal. She has opened up to one other however, a Cinnataur named Orthrus who is the love of her life. To those she cares for as well as her children and grandchildren, you could not find a sweeter woman, willing to do whatever she has to do to their smiling faces.
Backstory
Born with the name Scorpio, Momma started her life as a Celestial, a being created by the sentient Universe to assist the creator God Resonance in his work to shape the Multiverse. They all lived together in the Celestial's original home, The Cosmos. Though he had other Celestials at his disposal, he grew particularly fond of Scorpio, the pair fell in love and for a time, they were very happy. Sadly, things were not meant to be. Scorpio became pregnant with twins, but when the time came to give birth, one of her two beloved babes did not take a living breath. This profoundly hurt Scorpio in a way she couldn't express, and though they had more children in time, she would still think about her baby who passed and what could have been. In her unending grief, she decided to perform a taboo; though new life can be made through many different means, it is against the laws of the Universe to try and bring back a life that has ended. Through study and trial and error, she believed she could perform this taboo through Alchemy.
She knew she had to do all of this in secret, keeping everything she was doing from Resonance; he wouldn't understand. First she created the body with which she would house the soul she wished to pull from the void, a body made mostly of metal. From there, she made preparations to capture the soul from the void; a huge mistake. The synthetic body she created was filled with enormous energy, transforming it into a beast of flesh and metal that began a rampage. There was no hiding it at this point, as Resonance had to swoop in and contain the beast with his Yeouiju pearl. Resonance forgave Scorpio for what she had done, knowing that she was still grieving, but little did he know she was too far invested in her plan. She resented him for sealing away their son, despite the fact that whatever it was she made was definitely not their son.
When gracious opportunity struck for her, Scorpio stole Resonance's pearl, but she was far from strong enough to contain his power. It transformed herself and her grief into a hellish Wyrm filled with anguish and despair; Idhyaa, with a power that threatened to rip open the very fabric of reality. Resonance had to act fast, without the use of his pearl he was far from full power so there was only one thing he could do. With all of his might he opened up a hole into Purgatory, a rift between dimensions where there was nobody for this new being to hurt. As Idhyaa flew through Purgatory, its energy was shed and it began creating new land in its wake, terraforming this Universe over the span of years, which in the end, became Tartarus. New life began to form from the land and sea of this new world, and finally, as the immense power of Idhyaa was about to wain, the last gift it gave was a beautiful starry sky, the dragon pearl floating up to create a soft blue moon.
Idhyaa transformed once more as the power left her body, not back to Scorpio but to something new. She had no memory of her past life or what had led up to this very moment, the only thing she knew was that she had a strong urge to protect. But what? A small bump began to appear on her gelatinous form, and from it came a small curled up pup, one of many children she would have over the many years to come. She would have multiple partners and different names over this time, but in the end would end up isolating herself in a small cave on the mountain, strange feelings in the back of her mind would refuse to let her be happy, the only thing truly making her happy was taking care of her children. Even after they were grown and left the nest, she worried about them and loved hearing from them. In more recent times she has found a new partner who truly cherishes her, but she fears that she may one day shut herself away again. This one feels different though... for now, he visits her in her cave, he wishes to protect her, for unbeknownst to her, there are those out there who wish to use her power for their own nefarious purposes...
Relationships
Orthrus
[ Mate ]
Orthrus is Momma's current mate, having met one fateful day when he happened upon her secluded cave. It was a particularly bad day when darkness had creeped into her mind, and though she initially felt threatened, the kind look in the intruders eyes brought her guard down, giving them time to talk. One visit turned into many, and Orthrus even began treating all the children of Momma as though they were his own. Momma feels as though Orthrus is the only one who truly understands her, giving her space when she needs it, and is available for support. He helps her stay out of that dark lonely place in her mind that she keeps trapping herself into. What she doesn't know is that he wants to protect her from those who would use her powers for nefarious purposes.
Resonance
[ Ex-Mate/Bitter Enemy ]
Resonance was Momma's first love, but is now a bitter enemy. Though she cannot remember why, or even who he is for that matter, there is only the rage that builds when she tries to remember her past, a purple blur clouding her mind and sending her into a rage. When the Universe was new, Resonance knew Momma as Scorpio, and for a time, they were very happy together. It was the loss of their first child, who did not get to take even one breath of life in this world, where things began to change and they began to grow apart. The Alchemy with which she tried to bring her son back with was taboo, and though Resonance turned a blind eye to what she had done after the mess was cleaned up, she pushed things farther by stealing his orb of power with which he had trapped the monster in the form of their son, and overwhelmed by its power, was transformed into a monster herself. Resonance was forced to throw Scorpio into Purgatory to keep the Universe from ripping apart, and for all this, though the feelings may be misdirected since Momma can't even remember Resonance, she has a bitter feeling of betrayal towards him.
Kthulhu (Jones)
[ Ex-Mate/Friend ]
Kthulhu (or Jones as he is more recently known as) was Momma's first love after her transformation from Idhyaa to the Momma we know today. Though she had no memory of being Idhyaa, nor did anyone else know that it was her who created Tartarus, she felt a strong connection to this world, and others were drawn to this, unknowing what it was. Kthulhu had a wish to bring order to this wild and untamed Universe, and Momma wished the same, so her children would be safe. Together a city was founded, Rlyeh, with which Kthulhu would rule with the superior intellect he was blessed with. During this time they were blessed with a child, Ghatanothoa, but soon after Momma started gaining some unsettling feelings. She decided it was time for her to move on, she didn't want to be a ruler, and these strange feelings were keeping her from getting closer to Kthulhu, who himself became very busy tending to the city. It was a near mutual breakup, but the pair separated on good terms and remained friends, despite Theo's distaste for his father especially after he disappeared years later. One thing neither of them knew though, was that a second child of theirs was incubating inside Momma, and though the years passed by, it seemed she was just waiting for the right time to show herself...
King
[ Ex-Mate/Friend ]
Soon after ending things with Jones, Momma sought refuge in an old cave, but didn't realize that it already had an occupant. A younger King, going by a different name at the time, was living there in solitude, and though he was not one for company, he was captivated by Momma at first sight. He was much softer back then, and wanted to do all her could to protect her and her children, even having a child of their own together, Koops. Upon hearing of Jones' iron fisted rule, he vowed to overthrow him and become the ruler of Tartarus himself so that Momma and her children could be safe. He built a large castle out in the forrest with which to plan his attack and raise an army. But Momma, seeing the same pattern she saw in Jones, refused to go to the castle and instead kept residence in the cave. She tried to reason with King but it was no use, his mind was made up, not realizing until it was too late that his love had left him. He has since retired his plans to take over Tartarus, and lives in that lonely castle of his own making. Their son decided to move in with him so that he wouldn't be as lonely, and though Momma still views King as a friend, King has tried on more than one occation to win Momma back to no avail.
Insomnia
[ Ex-Mate/Friend ]
Insomnia may have been drawn to Momma due to their mutual love of children and wanting to see them protected. The fellow of few words happened upon Momma's cave one day and though she was very wary at first, she saw how well the children were drawn to him dispite his creepy appearance, and so she allowed him to stick around. She felt safe with him for a time and they had two children together, however in time, Insomnia could sense that he was needed back in the other realm. His powers allowed him to project himself into the realm of Gaea to protect children from those would wish to cause them harm in one way or another, and in his absense there were others without a protector. Momma understood for she greatly admired what he does, and thus the two fondly parted ways.
Oculus
[ Ex-Mate/Friend ]
Momma's romance with Oculus was a short love affair, he wondered into her cave on day and being a Cinna of few words, Momma took to his calm nature, and her children seemed to really like him as well. Oculus is in a state of seeing many possible futures at once, one of which was what lead him to Momma. Together they had two children, Squishy and Oculus Jr. After some few years though, it was sadly time for Oculus to part, he had to go where his visions took him, and though Momma loved him, it was more of a warm love and not a true love. She liked his calm company, and he was a good friend to her, she understood that he was a being that couldn't be fixed to one place. He does visit at times though to see her and their children, in recent times Momma has heard his visions had him join a circus. She thinks it'll be interesting to see how such a thing plays out...
Lillith

Momma has a strong distaste for the youngest of the Original Sins, Lillith, the sin of Lust. Whereas Momma uses her certain features to feed and take care of her young, Lillith uses hers for ill intent, using her body to use others to get what she wants. Not only does Momma find this extremely offensive and deceitful, she also has a personal stake in it, as her son Testimony is absolutely smitten with this crone. Above all else, Momma believes boobs are for babies.

Testimony was the firstborn of a set of triplets; Momma was unaware of being pregnant at the time that she first turned into Idhyaa. The transformation affected the triplets in different ways, some physical, some mental, some both. For Testimony, who was born as Idhyaa was thrown into the rift to Purgatory, he was mostly affected mentally. For the first part of his life, he lived with his father Resonance, in The Cosmos, but after killing the original Virgo, he went absolutely mad. Like his Mother before him, his madness turned him into a terrible beast when confronted, and Resonance, who was still weak from his battle with Idhyaa and from losing his Dragon Pearl, had no chance but to banish him in the same manner as Scorpio; a choice that would result in breaking Resonance's spirit further, enough for him to create a new Universe in which to shut himself and the other Celestials away from mortals, Elysium. When he arrived in Tartarus, Momma and he were drawn to each other right away, a feeling of knowing exactly who the other one was, and they grew so incredibly close. Testimony, hating his father, wished to bad mouth him to Momma, but she would snap at him for it, the only time she ever would get mad at him and so he learned to keep quiet about Resonance, venting to his Cinnapet instead. Momma sees a lot of herself in Testimony, especially in his love of science and alchemy. She has a distaste for his choices in love however, the last thing she wants is for that lustful harpy to get her claws into her beloved son...
Dokidoki
[ Genderless Offspring ]
[ Father ] Resonance
Doki was the second born of Momma's set of triplets, having been affected by the transformation into Idhyaa in both body and mind. They were born while Idhyaa was in the rift between dimensions, and so they mutated even farther than their other two siblings, so much so that they were actually ripped apart by the rift and moulded into something different, over and over again, until they fell into another dimension. In time, they discovered powers they recieved while floating in the rift, and were able to make contact with Momma, and soon after were able to open a small rift for themselves to make it to Tartarus. They are sure to be respectful of Momma's home, making sure not to eat any hearts or souls while visiting.
Gridlocke

Gridlocke was the third born of Momma's triples, being born in Tartarus itself and was only affected physically by her transformation, his mind staying totally intact. Seeing as Momma didn't know of the other two at the time, she believed Gridlocke to be her first son, and cottled him endlessly. He wasn't allowed to leave her side until he was grown, and for this reason he became somewhat of a rebel. He loves to cause trouble and pull pranks, and is known to get himself in a lot of trouble. Though he's grown, his Momma still scolds him for his shenanigans, but that doesn't stop him from being the big goofball that he is. One of these days, Momma thinks that he's going to mess with the wrong creature of Tartarus...
Ghatanothoa (Theo)

[ Father ] Kthulhu (Jones)
Theo is the only son of Momma and Kthulhu, born while things were still good between them. They loved their son dearly, but the life he had grown accustomed to soon changed as his father put himself more and more into his work. When his parents broke up, he was devastated, and soon began to act out. He blamed his father, Momma would never speak ill of an ex-mate to their children but Theo could see with his own eyes that his fathers absense was the reason for their breaking up. He resents his father greatly, and even more-so after he disappeared. Momma wanted to tell him where his father went but having sworn to Kthulhu that she wouldn't tell a soul, and knowing how big her sons feelings could be, finding out his father had found new love could set him over the edge. She loves her son dearly and wishes he would visit more often, but he prefers to stay secluded in his underwater cave. There are some that believe him to be the rightful heir to the Tartarus throne, and have pursued him to try and persuade him to do so, but having seen what it did to his father, he wants no part of it.
Cthylla

[ Father ] Kthulhu (Jones)
Cthylla is the only daughter of Momma and Kthulhu, however she was born long after Kthulhu left Tartarus, being smart even as a wee baby, she lived inside of Momma until which time as she felt she was ready for the world. Where her brother has no ambition to rule or really do much of anything, Cthylla wishes to overthrow Baal and take back her father's throne which rightfully belongs to her family. She is ruthless, merciless and an excellent tactician, and on top of that her followers bow to her every whim. Momma wishes that she wouldn't follow in her father's footsteps, however she feels she must let the girl make her own choices.
Prince

Prince, or Little Prince as Momma calls him, was created through Momma alone and has no other parent. He is a strange looking little fellow, some have even gone so far as to call him Cursed, but Momma loves him extremely dearly no matter what he looks like. He doesn't let any namecalling get him down, infact he's embraced his Cursedness and started his own little gang of Cursed fellas called the Cursed Crusaders where he is the leader and Momma is very proud of him. The others seem him as a natural leader and follow him without question. They started out by doing good deeds around Tartarus to help lessen the stigma around their strange appearances, but they say as of late, Prince has gotten a little more ambitious...
Squishy

[ Father ] Oculus
Squishy is Momma's happiest little guy, he always does his best to make sure his mother has a smile on her face. Though he use to always be by Momma's side, he decided to go out into Tartarus to help make others happier too, as the void like place isn't the happiest place to be. Though Momma misses him when he's gone, she is happy he's helping to make a difference, and she isn't worried about him because his sibling Mercury is there to protect him from anything that might cause him harm.
Mercury

Mercury was born from Momma and Momma alone, which is why they have a striking resemblance to her. They also resemble parts of her original namesake, which perhaps came through subconciously. Unfortunately, Mercury has inhereted a great deal of insecurities, and despite having a loving mother, they often times find themselves wallowing in self hatred on their own. The only thing that seems to help put a smile on their face is their brother Squishy. For this reason, Momma suggested Mercury go with Squishy on his journey to help make all of Tartarus smile. They weren't sure at first, but they love Squishy dearly and didn't want to see him get hurt on his journey, so they decided to go to help protect him from the elements.
Seraph

[ Birth Parents ] Unknown.
Seraph was born on Gaea, but never knew who his real parents were. The moment he was born he was used for horrendous experiments by the seedy underground of the Three Kingdoms, with a piece of Idhyaa that was shed during the battle between her and Resonance. Because of this, he has some of Momma's DNA inside of him and has always felt her presence and an extreme closeness to her despite living in different dimensions. He has found ways of contacting her from beyond the rift and has poured his heart out to her, and dreams of finding a way to make it to Tartarus himself to meet with her, who he believes is his true mother. Having be experimented on with pieces of Idhyaa however, his mind is very unstable, he is ruthless in combat and feels no remorse for anything he's done.

Codex was born to Momma and Insomnia, and down the line became an older brother to his sister, Birthday. He was born a small and meek little fellow, but along the line while out playing, he came into contact with a strange colorful mist that caused him to grow large, gaining strange chaotic powers in the process. He was still himself but he had memories of another being from a universe apart from his own. He told his mother of this and how curious it was making him, and she encouraged him to pursue these memories to see what became of them, perhaps he could figure out his new chaotic powers if he found out where they came from.

[ Father ] Insomnia
Birthday was the second born to Momma and Insomnia, her brother being Codex. Her parents soon found that she LOVED parties! The only problem was that she inhereted her fathers creepy apearance, and therefore didn't get many guests at her parties. She didn't let that stop her though, even if she was the only guest, she had lots of fun. She dreams of one day opening up her own party shop in Tartarus, something that likely doesn't have much need in a place such as Tartarus, but Momma is very happy that she has a dream to work towards.
Menace

Menace was born accidently while Momma was performing some Alchemy experiments. She has been known to make little Cinnapets for herself and her children, and she was whipping up a batch one day when the cauldron exploded and overflowed with purple Cinnamites. To Momma's surprise the Cinnamites came together in one mass, creating the shape of a Cinnadog. They spoke as one as they are a hive mind, and called her their Mother. Though they are not truly a Cinnadog, Momma loves them all the same.
Wade

Wade was born to Momma unexpectedly one day, she knew this wasn't an offspring she had made herself, but she had no idea who the other parent could be. Perhaps he had willed himself into existance? Stranger things had happened. In the beginning, Wade was the strangest of Momma's born children, he was totally covered in fluff and would be considered the most "normal" looking. That soon changed as he grew though, who he lost every speck of hair on his body and became hairless. This didn't bother him much though, he was happy it made him look more like his Momma. Wade is always getting into shenanigans and sometimes can be found hanging out with his brother Gridlocke. Through a prank gone wrong, he found out that he can grow back his own limbs if he needs to which really comes in handy, especially in a place like Tartarus.

Comet came to Momma in a time of need, it was during a time where she was particularly lonely. All of her children had left to go seek out their own dreams, and she was left all alone with her thoughts. It was a particularly dark night, when a shooting star happened to cross Momma's vision, and not one for superstition, she wished on it, hoping to find some company. To her surprise the shooting star got closer and closer, and she reached out for it, catching a little bundle of fluff in her arms, a small baby Cinnataur. She had no idea where he could have come from, or why he fell from the sky, but she knew that he wouldn't make it on his own in Tartarus, and thus she adopted and raised him as her own. He needed her, but she also needed him, and this brought a lot of joy to Momma's life for a time.

[ Parents ] Testimony and Lillith
Certiorari was born through Lillith's magic, in an attempt to get Testimony to stop following her around. She created her to be totally compatible with Testimony, a love of his own, to keep him from pursuing her farther. It ended up having the opposite effect, to which Testimony exclaimed "Oh Lillith my love, I didn't know you were pregnant, she looks just like us!" And thus Momma's first Granddchild was born. Was Momma thrilled about it? No, but only because she was a creation of Lillith's. But she didn't hold it against Certi, it wasn't her fault who her mother was after all, and formed a solid relationship with her, as Momma was very excited to go from Momma to Grand Momma.

[ Parent ] Testimony
It is very known that Testimony is a little eccentric. He had the bright idea that he wanted to create life of his own, instead of his usual nasty habit of taking it away. Throwing together some bones, some old beakers, a cool mask of course, and then a couple of dead bodies, and boom, he had himself a son. But for now it was just a husk. With a massive amount of his electric powers, Testimony was able to bring is son to life. Momma was extremely proud of what Testimony was able to do, and loves her new Grandson dearly. He isn't able to talk, and mostly communicates in grunts, and he seems to only follow Testimony around, but Momma loves him all the same.
Cinnapets
Morgana
[ Cinnagummy ]
Morgana was the first company Momma had after transforming from Idhyaa. She was exceptionally lonely and though her memories were foggy, she remembered her Alchemy, and with a little clump of jelly from her body, she brought Morgana to life. Since then, Morgana has been Momma's more trusted confidant, with whom she can tell anything to without judgement. There are things she's told Morgana that not even Orthrus or any of her previous mates know.
Areola
[ Oozebud ]
No one can say that Momma doesn't have a sense of humor, for you see, Areola is an actual piece of Momma that fell off of a certain place that would bare her namesake. It's not uncommon for jelly to fall off Momma occationally, but don't worry, it grows back! So she decided to take this clump of jelly that had fallen off and turn it into another new friend for her. Areola likes to stay very close to Momma as she is a little frightful.
Ladon
[ Gummimandyr ]
Momma isn't totally sure where this little fella actually came from, as she didn't make him. One day he just kind of slithered into her cave, as though he were looking for something. She figured out he was hungry when he found her food stash and started eatting little bits of it. She didn't mind, she had plenty to go around, and since then he's just kinda hung around her cave. The more the merrier!
Mantodea
[ Cinnamite ]
While this Cinnamite wasn't Momma's first to be made (or second, or third... Menace's mites were the first and he's made up of multitudes), she is the one that looks the most like her! For this reason it seems as though she's adopted some of Momma's own mannerisms, and though being a mite makes her much smaller, she acts extremely motherly to the other Cinnapets.
Glabrezu
[ Cinnagummy ]
Glabrezu is a funky little fellow with a mouth on his head. He's not very coordinated and the mouth has been known to get top heavy, causing him to fall down a lot. For this reason he's become somewhat of a little clown, loving to make his fellow Cinnapets laugh. He is one of the Cinnapets that Momma created herself, and is one of three triplets that were all made at once.
Omukade
[ Cinnagummy ]
Omukade is the second of the three pink triples that Momma created all at once. She is very long and is sometimes mistaken for a Gummimandyr,but she's actually just a really long centipede like Cinnagummy! She has a tendency to get a little cranky if she doesn't get her way, using her chompy little bug mouth to nip at the other Cinnapets if they fight her for food.
Madison
[ Cinnagummy ]
The third of the three pink triplet Cinnagummies that Momma made, Madison is very affectionate. She loves to give big tight hugs with her head tentacles, though not everyone is very keen on it. Momma absolutely adores her hugs though, and tries to encourage the other Cinnapets and her children to accept her hugs to help her self esteem.
Boss
[ Oozebud ]
Boss was part of a set of two Oozebud Cinnapets that Momma made through alchemy. These two were meant to be happy comforting pillows for herself and for her children, an extra comforting ear to listen when needed. Something went wrong with Boss though... At first he was kind and attentive like is sibling Makura, but something changed. No one was sure why, but Boss started getting bigger and bigger... and at the same time, some of the Cinnapets started going missing. He had been absorbing them and was growing bigger and more powerful, to the point that he had become as big as an average Cinnadog! Momma was heartbroken, there was nothing she could do to stop him from what he was doing, but she didn't have the heart to destory him, so she cast him out and told him never to return. This angered Boss and he vowed that one day he would return for the rest of Momma's pets, and since then he has absorbed even more wild Cinnapets to the point he is much larger than even regular Cinnadogs now.
Makura
[ Oozebud ]
The second of the two Oozebuds created to be a comforting pet for Momma and her children, Makura was the total opposite to his brother, he did what he was designed for and even more, allowing those who were hurting emotionally to have a comforting snooze on his body. It was almost as though he fed on the sadness because once near him, that sadness will soon go away.
