Being alone has never been a disadvantage for Atlas. Ever since he was born, he embraced his solitude. He saw it as sincere, pure and transparent.
For him, there's no better place to be but in your own thoughts, away from anyone that can hurt you.  
He has traveled around the globe, and had several difficult encounters with sharks, and orca packs.
Other than that, his life is a complete mystery and gives little to no information of his whereabouts or experiences. 
He thinks of the whole ocean as his home, since he's a traveler..
