Sabik/Eta Ophiuchi

nonbinary, goes by he/him / Eta is the name of his tail (see below)
- infused with the soul of a binary star
- Sabik knows how to defend himself generally well. unlike most creatures on his planet, he strictly only fights when he needs to. he's had to resort to this many times
- likes to wear baggy clothing
- his lights are always wavering! they are determined by various factors; emotion, speech, movement, breathing, etc. they're completely random and only stay constant when something is overwhelming them
- trilingual. He fluently speaks Star, English, and Binary code
- certified good boy. tries his best

Sabik has a tail with a mind of its own -- Eta. they struggle to get along but do so in begrudging dependency. Eta spends most of its time hovering around Sabik's backside. In doing so, they are always one step ahead from sneak attacks!
Eta cannot speak. to be honest, he's more like a pet

Eta also really, REALLY likes to eat. he is a ravenous and violent little goon
