Lyre of the Orchestra

Lyre was born to a small family of her two parents and an older brother. Her parents were part of a criminal organization, and rumours about it spread often. Due to this, and her parents unfortunate debt, most other parents wouldn't allow their kids to spend time with her. Thus, she didn't have much a social life, making it difficult to form any relationships, platonic and romantic.

At the age of 16, her parents introduced her to the organization they worked for, and soon after put her to work. She found she had a knack for Forgery, and with her Father's help, Lyre learned it at a remarkable speed. In just a few years time, should anyone need papers forged, she was usually the one they were recommended to. But not everyone was kind, of course, and she had her fair share of near death experiences. No matter how well of a job she did, every so often there were times where it wasn't well enough, and her clients were caught. They'd come back in a fit and try to take her out.

This took a toll on her - as it would anyone - and after 10 years she got fed up and tried to leave. But the higher ups wouldn't have it, and let her know that should she run out, there would be dire consequences for herself and her family. She was too good for them to let her go, it seemed. And if she got worse and messed up more often, she'd become a liability and likely killed for good measure.

Unsure of how to escape, she sought solace with her father. Together they hatched a plan to fake her death in a house fire, and she'd run away to a different continent under a different name. She got together the money she had, and a bit extra as a gift from her father, and began to set the plan in motion. Neither told Lyre's mother or brother, as they worried the more than knew, the more likely they'd be caught, either before or after. But this also meant that they both thought she did actually die in the fire.

To her knowledge it went off without a hitch, and Lyre left to start her life anew elsewhere. She created a fake identity just in case anyone found out she was still alive and came for her and lives alone in a small village. The fake persona she made for herself is actually Lyre as a whole, as her real name is Light of the Flame.

Her voice is similar to that of Zoya's from Trine 4

Trivia:

• To try and distract herself from thoughts of her family as well as whenever she feels sad, Lyre has taken up Pottery. She isn't good at it, but she at least knows the basics.
• If one were to ask why she wears bright clothing despite being in hiding, she claims it's to hide in plain sight.
