maybe something else abt a scorpion tbh: With the rope around his arm affixed to the hilt of his blade, toshiyuki can twirl his blade to strike the enemy similar to a blunt weapon. The hook at the tip can catch in the opponent’s flesh and allow for a stronger transfusion of acid, doing more damage in a shorter period of time.

secret dance: toshiyuki steps swiftly around the opponent with distracting movements and mannerisms that keep his blade out of the opponent’s field of vision and awareness. It appears to be solely a distraction with no offensive tactics, but upon stepping away, the enemy is revealed to be filled with small cuts infected with acid.

bound acid or smth: everything in the vicinity of toshiyuki becomes susceptible to an acidic fog emanating from himself. it can be nearly manipulated like wind, clouding around the enemy, burning and consequently pushing them in a given direction. Coupled with his rope, toshiyuki can use this to capture or damage enemies without the intent to immediately kill.

idk. rain of hellfire or some fancy name: through relative mastery of this breathing technique, toshiyuki can dilute his acid and cause a brief, acidic rainfall which responds to the target’s skin like clean water. After activation/release from toshiyuki, the acid rapidly corrodes at the opponent’s skin and does massive damage in a short period of time. The opponent rarely has time to comprehend their pain.

all im thinking about is scorpion so scorpion fog: An attack performed with precise and often rapid movements around the opponent’s body. Sharp and fast slashes are done throughout the surface of the opponent’s skin with the goal of heavy bleeding. Toshiyuki’s movement also spreads a fog of acid, poisoning every surface it touches and corroding those which are susceptible. Toshiyuki can manipulate this acidic fog similarly to wind, forcing it towards his enemy and burning them instantly.
