Biography
Karina is the daughter of a Mafia don. However hated being restricted by her overprotective family and attempted to have a normal life by owning a perfume company and running her own business. But she found out her family were the mysterious backers who kept the money running and felt like she couldn't escape their grasp.
She didn't want her father to keep deciding her life (and well look bad in front of her married friends; she hated being the one left behind and being mocked) and thus hired Günther, a mercenary who saved her life once though he didn't recognize her and a man she fell in love with at first sight. She used Günther as a bodyguard to keep men away including her father who she knew got rid of unsuitable men who she had a crush on.
She later married Günther and let him run the mafiaso, while she doted on their daughter Miranda.
TLDR; Miranda's mother. Günther's wife. Mafia boss's wife. Owner of perfume company
Trivia
- Supposed to be of German/European descent (though story's world doesn't focus on races generally )
- Elaborated form of KARIN.
From the Greek name Αικατερινη (Aikaterine). The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name ‘Εκατερινη (Hekaterine), which came from ‘εκατερος (hekateros) "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek αικια (aikia) "torture"; or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". In the early Christian era it became associated with Greek καθαρος (katharos) "pure", and the Latin spelling was changed from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this. - Dress https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwja0Z2M7s_SAhWChFQKHY8CC1IQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Focodea.com%2Fmainpage%2Fdetail%2Fmetallic-party-dresses&psig=AFQjCNEz7ceNB2xii9m7ypP0aBi22xmJ4w&ust=1489369973465883
