• Paz is a character I previously used in another story, they have been reworked to fit Universe 3.

• They are 5'10 tall, and 6'0 tall with their large boots.
• Paz's bandages around their eye are always on, except for when they sleep.
• Their signature gloves and boots have fake bear pawpads and claws. The boots leave a bear tracks in the snow because of this.
• Their favorite color combination is green and purple.

Paz Mendoza is a very ambitious and enthusiastic young adult who has a lot of passion about their interests. They are a very nice down to earth person who makes everyone feel like they are their friend. They like to be around other people as well, and would be considered an extrovert. They don't enjoy partys or similar meetups, but do enjoy casually talking with others, preferably in a calmer setting like a library.

Paz is also very intelligent, and one of their biggest interests is biology, specifically mycology. It's very fascinating to them how unique and otherworldly these lifeforms are, and they want to see every one there is to see, maybe even discover new ones.

Recently they have also gained a major interest in theology, the history of religion and how beliefs around the world are shared. Even though they're very extroverted, when they get extremely interested in something Paz will spend more time with that interest than friends, making them seem reclusive.

School

Paz went to a college specializing in biology to further their knowledge of mycology and possibly get a job in the field. They were an excellent and extremely focused student, though a bit too focused sometimes. Sometime during their schooling Paz started to notice patterns in historical myths of fungus being referred to in strange ways. Looking further into this, Paz saw these patterns in modern times as well in various different ways. Nobody else had seemed to notice this and if they did they dismissed it as simply legends. However to Paz the continuation of these legends into modern day made it clear something was going on here. Paz began to study theology on the side, Making notes of all connections they saw.

Thesis

During studying, Paz considered writing their thesis on this phenomenon they seemed to have discovered. When Paz brought these connections to the attention of other students and professors everyone thought they were looking way too deeply into it, and they were wasting their time, that it was nothing worth studying. However this dismissal of all their research only made Paz more determined to continue finding out what it all meant. Now, during their independent study period near graduation, Paz is staying at a part of the country they believe through their hard research is very important to finding something extremely concrete as proof.
