Only a breath later Demetria noticed that something went wrong with her. Her patterns on her fur faded, new ones came up and her blue eyes turned to white, her heart rate slowely died, her breath burned in her chest. She knows that she should've died but why is she still alive? She doesn't know. Is it a curse or is she blessed? What's that countdown she's able to see in peoples eyes? What does it mean? Is their time ticking away or is it her time? It's their time. "You will die in about half a day.",she whispered slowly to herself, looking at a stranger on the street. Years, Days, Hours, Minutes.

It didn't take long for her to stop making eye contact, avoiding to see how long someone has left, how long she might be able to befriend someone just to lose them. No, that's not how she want things to be. She tried to look in the mirror, tried to get how long she'll be alive, but all she was able to see was an empty screen. Nothing in her eyes. Just the white color, just the emptiness she feels.
