The only surviving child of Amu'Mush and Mashku, Hope Jenkins has spent the centuries carrying myriads of ghosts on her journey around the Earth. In that time she has been wife to Akita (deceased), M'Pilo of the J'Abari Tribe (deceased), Sir Bartholomew Stewert Jenkins (deceased), and Edward "Solas" Eichel, and mother to Solonzi of the J'Abari Tribe (deceased), Lora Tanis "Huntress" Eichel, Chester "Mista" Eichel and Troy "Scáth" Eichel.
Hope keeps a low profile teaching at Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters, helping to nurture the next generation of mutants and praying for a better future for them.

About
Long ago in the eastern tundras of Canada, the small colony of shapeshifters welcomed their newest addition: Mashkuss, the small but mighty daughter of Amu'Mush and Mashku. A long, desolute winter hit them that year, and the couple lost all of their children - except for little Mashkuss. Amu'Mush took this as a blessing from the Great Spirit, while Mashku came to loath her own daughter, blaming the babe for taking away all her siblings' lives so that she could live. Mashkuss and her father had a close relationship, while her mother strayed further and further away, until it culminated in Mashku killing Amu'Mush in a fire that Mashkuss witnessed. Traumatised and fearing for her life, the young mutant's X-Gene was triggered and she used her power to run far, far away.
