Neon Tetra

Personality:

Neon is, by nature of his job, curious and eager to pitch himself when necessary. He's self-confident, but not too arrogant, and is capable of not letting his ego get the better of him (usually). Despite is dislike of lying, and his general friendliness, his obsession with the occult and the dead can make him untrustworthy to most at a first glance. 

Background:

Neon is a House Inspector -- though more accurately, his occupation is inspecting said houses for ghosts. Rather than rating a house's value based on how well it's built, his job is to certify if a house 'claimed' to be haunted is actually factual and true. Because of this, he has a keen eye for noticing lies, and a rather capable handyman due to the number of houses he's concluded to be 'simply in need of a bit of repairs' rather than actually haunted.

His travels eventually bring him to Shell City, where he is very quickly under suspicion for the recent string of murders that have been happening throughout the city. Despite telling the truth, his excitement about seeing the victims (woah, usually the people he sees are way more dead than this!), as well as his completely innocent name being, well, fishy, makes it hard for the others to believe him. Even his occupation as a House Inspector is brought into question -- so far that even one of the other members of their crew, Freddie, exchanges business cards with the notion that Neon is also using the job 'House Inspector' to hide something much more dangerous and probably illegal. 

Eventually, they find out that one of their teammates, Saul, is actually a Shark in disguise, and together, stop the Sharks from invading and taking the place of Shell City's humans. Once done, the crew heads off their separate ways, with Neon making note never to visit that particular city again.
