Personality:

Van is gruff and unlikable off his job, and suave and kind during. Because of his stress from work, he joined the game to get some fun online. DRcade in particular was fun because he didn't have to be nice -- but by the end of DRcade's run, he came to realize that he made friends that he actually cared for. 

As their Avatar:

Van is a well liked owner of a popular ice cream truck that drives around the country. The truck has a large variety of homemade, specialty ice cream favors coveted by many, with people often searching for anyone who have any reports of what town he’ll be in next. Van has a ‘business-like kindness’ that vanishes once he’s finished working for the day. Off work, his suave demeanor is mixed in with the rude, sometimes cold, personality he hides from his customers...

...and well, overall, his Avatar self isn't much different than his IRL self, sans perhaps that his ice cream truck doesn't go that far across the country.

Other Info:

• He likes most Ice Cream, Hairbrush/anything to style his hair with, pocket mirror, while he dislikes Vanilla Ice Cream, or any sort of ice cream that isn’t fit to his ‘standards’, cold mornings, anything ‘too plain’. his favorite is some nice Snazzy Sunglasses.
• When given the option to make his avatar self his real self, she declined. 
• Really, Van IRL looks exactly like himself online. Nothing about him was different.
