Erez'athoth

Legends speak of a monstrous creature lurking deep beneath the waves, gliding with ease through the inky depths consumed by hunger. They warn of how the creature will lure it's prey with promises of treasure and long-lost secrets - bedazzling them with the unearthly glow of their body until they are close enough to consume.

While the legends are correct about there being a creature lurking deep, deep within the ocean's belly, they are wrong in regards to the nature of the creature. Shy and skittish, Ere will rarely show themself let alone attack. Lurking in the shadows they are fond of watching divers and other creatures go about their lives and despite their nervous nature they have been known to lend aid to anyone who might need it.

They enjoy exploration and collecting, picking up trinkets they find left behind in wreckages or partially buried in the ocean sands. Occasionally they find themself curious about the world above and wonder what it might be like to swim a little higher up where the waters are more clear. Sometimes, they even wonder about what lay beyond that.

One day they hope they will be able to see it, but until that day they are content to lurk, watch, and collect.
