Crypt owes their life to Merle. He saved them near the begining of the initial outbreak, so now they stay with him. They may not necessarily.. like Merle, but they see them as a sort of father figure. Merle is a bitch, but is nice (enough) to them and Whiskey. Gets misgendered a lot because Merle isnt the best, like, at all.
