Personality:

+ Calm; There isn't much that can phase Aslan, and he prides himself on remaining calm and collected in otherwise aggravating circumstances. He likes to think of himself as someone you could go to to help solve a dispute or argument since he finds it easy to remain calm and impartial.

+ Hardworking; Life isn't handed to you on a plate, and Aslan is more than willing to work for what he wants. Accomplishing something using your own time and abilities only makes that accomplishment more sweet.

+ Reliable; If you ask Aslan to do something for you, he'll make sure it gets done. He is a big believer in never breaking promises and delivering on things that you owe people.

- Aggressive; Despite trying to maintain a calm front, Aslan has been known to be overly aggressive when provoked. If he determines a confrontation is necessary, he usually will not back down until he has won.

- Insecure; Teasing as a child instilled insecurities in Aslan and made him second guess his chosen profession later in life. He believes that he's not as strong as the rest of the blacksmiths because he's on the smaller side and was sickly as a child.

- Proud; While being proud of your work is never bad, Aslan takes any criticism made about it personally. He will obsess over his mistakes to his detriment until he can find a way to improve and not make the same mistake a second time.

History:

Aslan was a sickly child and this led to coddling by his mother from a young age. The other children in the Caravan teased him for this and told him he'd never be good at anything other than a momma's boy. Aslan wanted to prove them wrong, but was never given the chance to prove himself by his mother, who insisted that her son would be a fine farmer or healer when he grew up, but Aslan didn't want that. He wanted to be a hunter or a fighter, something that would prove he was more than the other kids told him he was.

After Aslan's family settled in Kazbet, Aslan seized his chance to leave. He joined a group of herd folk headed to Evergreen and left his family behind, craving a new start. He eventually found himself in Iron Town and fell in love with the idea of being a blacksmith, having never been allowed to work with metal before. It took a little while but Aslan eventually earned himself a place among the ranks of the blacksmiths and finally found something he could be good at.
