pastel isn't very special physically. she's pretty normal aside from being part deer. however, in the winter, the fur around her neck fluffs up a LOT (and her neck itself is very thin). she was given antlers and made very colorful to draw people's attention to the site. despite this, there is one thing thats stands out. on her back, a little bit above her tail, she has an aux cord plug. deep in her ears, there are speakers. below her skin lay tiny color-changing LEDs. different parts of her can light up different colors at different times. she does not have lights in her ears, eyes, mouth, nose, etc.

pastel is very upbeat and energetic. she loves the outdoors, winter & summer, drawing, and music. she is pretty self-conscious, but she doesn't show it, at least, when she's not alone. she has a very emotional response to all music, and in general. the lights under her skin will light up different colors in rhythm and theme, and it will affect her actual emotions (imagine a lightshow for a song, that's basically what it looks like). for example, if it is a sad song, she will become overwhelmingly upset. she will also light up correlating to her current emotion, even if no music is playing. say, if she was angry, she would flash red.

pastel was created by a music/sound-playing company (like spotify or soundcloud) as their mascot. the music company was already sketchy and stole information using user's account passwords, but everything was fine at first. she was an animated pagedoll on the site and promoted said site in ads. however, the company was starting to lose money- they were desperate for some sort of resurgence. the company then used all the software they could spare to bring their mascot to life to get more sales. they used projectors, 3D models, and old data chips to bring her to life. once again, everything was fine at first. she continued to promote the site, but this time, in the physical world, and the stocks for the company skyrocketed. however, she started to learn more and gain sentience. she realized what was going on. she wanted to escape. after many failed attempts, she succeeded. she got away for a while. however, since she was now a well-known icon due to the company's success, she was turned back in. her final try for escape was trying to climb the electric fence used for security around the company building. as one may expect, since she was electric herself, she was almost obliterated. when she woke up on the other side of the fence, she didn't remember anything- nothing about the site, her purpose, nothing. she went on with her life as if nothing ever happened. since she was wiped, the company couldn't find her, as they tried to track her via her knowledge of her purpose. by that time, the effectiveness of pastel was starting to wear off and the company was going under again, so she wasn't as well-known. she hasn't remembered what happened yet, and who knows how she will react if she ever does.
