A bit of a god-complex;
Used to look up to Yamatsu when they were younger - more like, obsessed, actually;

• Snapped after he found out about Sabi and Yamatsu's lil....lil affair - Yamatsu didn't really threaten him not to tell anyone, but Inoue can't get himself to actually rat him out;
• He cuts his hair in a choppy manner nowadays cause he looked up to Yamatsu so much, it even went down to the perfect symmetry of his hair;
• Though Yamatsu was the main inspiration for him to join the Corps, he does have a natural talent, and didn't have to work as hard;

- Uses a double edged sword: one half is a nichirin blade and the other is just a regular blade;
- The blades have "生まれ変わる" engraved in them (umarekawaru - to be reborn);
- Sand breathing;
