About
Having grown up aboard her Uncle's pirate ship, she now owns an Inn which she runs as if it were a tight ship. With a husband and child, she's quit chasing after her Uncle, instead learning to enjoy the life she'd built for herself outside of his approval.
Backstory
With her mother dying aboard her Uncle's ship just a week after her birth, Vance Baj was left to raise his niece aboard a ruthless pirate ship. With the help of his first mate Matthias, Vance was able to raise her with relative success.. if not a somewhat skewed sense of morals and a view of the world. Vance loved her in his own way however, and looked out for her in every way that he could. Including on her 19th birthday sending her away from the life of pirating, which was all she knew. Instead of going to the home he had set up for her, she stubbornly went off to make her own way.. with one goal in mind. To raise enough money for a ship of her own, and show her Uncle.
Though, plans change.. and meeting Kasjan during one of his firebreathing shows had a hand in this. The two hit it off as good friends, and he agreed to let her join his show to earn some coin. They traveled together for some time, until Kasjan eventually went back to the kingdom he was from, and she bought an Inn to continue raising money for her ship. Years later she met an odd scholar named Juliusz, who she couldn't help but find his flirting sweet. She gave in and began to spend time with him, eventually falling pregnant with her son Szafir. Realizing the life she could have with her now husband and son, she put away her desire to chase after her Uncle, instead settling down as a fisherwoman with her husband and newborn son. For now, at least.
