I had the pleasure of obtaining Gunther from ahirked on CS, he was too lovely for me to resist (And the second part of his orientation is Demisexual btw, I have no clue why it cut off)

Appearance
Gunther's appearance is (most likely) based on a dobermann, useful companions to help humans as search and rescue dogs, therapy dogs and other types of service dogs. He has a black and red colored coat, white eyes, a large scar going across his neck with two smaller ones next to it (one on top and another on the bottom), one on his left eye starting from the top and moving to the left, a notch on his left ear and last but not least, he has several patches of rock coming out of his body, the biggest one from his back, one on the front right leg, another on the left back leg and finally on his left cheek. In terms of accessories, he can be seen wearing a simple silver chain collar.
Personality
Gunther usually doesn't take too kindly to strangers, he's a grumpy old dog with a love for sarcasm who likes to maintain a good distance between him and others, his heart has been hardened by what happened in his lifetime and by the fact that he's now living an actual afterlife even though he didn't want to. Used to live in a repetitive cycle of hatred for his circumstances and himself with... Not so good coping mechanisms until Khufu found him, he's learning to deal with his issues in healthier ways and expressing himself better, slowly but surely he's beginning to grow happier. There are drawbacks and setbacks sometimes, those are inevitable though, he's getting there eventually, it's only a matter of time before his soul can be at relative peace with itself.

Closest Companion Khufu
When Gunther first saw Khufu, he thought he already knew what to expect: what he saw was a big, clumsy oaf and he was not at all curious in knowing more about him, he had guessed that he knew everything he had to know from just one look. Of course, as you might correctly expect, he got to look deeper into Khufu, not by willing decision but by Khufu's decision and at first it really did not go well, Gunther continued to think he was an idiot, snapping at the other canine but never managing to scare him away, he was all bark and no bite after all, it was easy for Khufu to realize that. Later however, as more time passed and he started to accept Khufu's company (albeit with reluctance) he got to see the other dog's outlook on life, his motives for protecting the desert village and the people who he hated (loss of loved ones) it had him interested. It wasn't all heavy topics though, when he first heard one of Khufu's jokes he couldn't help but laugh at how silly it was, it was a stupid pun, obviously that was Khufu's sense of humor, he wasn't even surprised, what did surprise him was seeing the bright smile on the bigger dog's face... The more he learned how sweet, caring and a good listener his unlikely companion was the happier he got whenever he came to visit his home each time, this one was genuine, this one did not hide anything from him, he always said every single thought that crossed his mind, no matter how ridiculous it was and, for once, someone gave a damn about his well-being and tried to find healthier ways for him to cope with his problems. Maybe, just maybe, he can let down his guard for him, only time will tell... (You can know more about their relationship on Khufu's side too)

Notes (Mostly incoherent design rambles from me)
- He can be drawn in anthro form too!
- Glowing/Shiny eyesssss
- Jaw kinda tends to stick to itself (Like in his ref)
- Lean and Lanky
- His rock patches let out some lava if he's feeling an intense emotion (usually anger or deep sadness) however they glow a pleasant, bright orange when he's happy
- Not really furry, his skin is quite smooth
