Personality

A rather calm and secretive girl with a sharp tongue, extremely blunt when necessary that doesn't care about telling others off if she feels disturbed by their presence, clearly she didn't learn how to bond with others and not many people seem interesting to her. Then again, she wouldn't go out of her way to be rude or make others feel bad, she's just dettached from the world.

The demon, however, is an extremely chaotic force that feeds on people's chaos and therefore incites them to do reckless shit even if it means to do it themselves too: they didn't mind of course as it wasn't their body that was getting harmed. They presented in synnove's body as a well-mannered girl with a sweet, honey-like, speech who could convince others to do what she wanted in order to achieve their purposes. Verbal abuse and physical violence weren't out of the table if necessary as well, as happened with Teru to keep her under their thumb.

Nowadays, after all of that is done with and she's human again, she's learned to take things with a bit more of nihilistic humor. She keeps this old-lady persona where all she cares about is smoking cigarettes, complaining about hip-pain and laughing at dirty jokes. She does genuinely enjoy doing those three things though, but she's empty inside and kind of lives without purpose.

Story

Key character to teru's story.

She's a girl who had a rough childhood and had to be removed from her parents' home due to their drug abuse and violence, therefore grew to really hate both of those. She was rehomed with an uncle of hers only to find he was in the same kind of business but without using.

They had an strange but rather loving relationship until then, when they began to grow apart. Her uncle was incredibly wealthy and owned a big ass library, where she found comfort and knowledge. Between those ordinary books she ended up finding some magic related and demon summoning. Her interest in ocultism kept growing, wondering if it could be the thing to grant her One wish.

And unexpectedly, it did. One wish in exchange of being posessed for a quantity of her life years. It was a good enough offer to accept, she didn't really care much for her life. Except, demons aren't exactly truthful and this one in particular wasn't. She doesn't know what happened until one day she just woke up with a girl crying and screaming at her about feelings and her actions and a bunch of nonsense.

From then on she discovered the kind of life the demon lead while on her body, and she was absolutely disgusted to find she had become addicted to the same things she despised. Having lost even that, she decided to go along with it and just join the family business which ended up with her on prison multiple times. It wasn't a big deal until the unofficial demon summoning came to be known by the appropiate authorities which charged her with even more shit and sent her to the multidimensional prison Aether Carcere.
