Zoraida's previous lover. Zoraida believes that Temperance betrayed her and left her to the mercy of witch hunters, when in actuality the witch hunters tricked and used Temperance to gain access to Zoraida to take her out. As a powerful witch from a prominant family, she was a prime target. When Zoraida brutally killed the witch hunters, she came back for a beaten and guilt-riddled Temperance who died at Zoraida's hands without putting up a real fight. But before she died, Zoraida laid a curse on her and Temperance was raised from the dead as a vampire, cursed to walk the earth as a "Parasite, like you were in life."-- quote, Zoraida.
