A former pop star seedrian wasting away because of a skin ailment; when presented with the opportunity from a lab to get an inkdrian's ink injected into her so long as she worked there, there was no way she could say no.

Nephele is cheery, with a positive outlook on life, and a fierce determination to keep doing what she loves - producing music for others to enjoy - even when her condition and the deal she'd struck to stop it tried to get in the way. If only that voice in her head shut up; then maybe she would be able to sing as wonderfully as she used to. "It's the kind of thing this process does to people," the scientists told her. Nephele had only smiled; it would be fine, and she learned to deal with the obnoxious voice for the sake of her fans.
