• She always has her bird companion Horizon with her, he guides her and is essentially her eyes 
• She used to have a different bird companion before Horizon called Iris, but she accidentally killed him by stepping on him 
• Zambi hates hot climates and cannot cope in them
• She really enjoys staring and freaking others out, or scaring those who don't expect to see her particularly at night
• Zambi was the first Visnoid I ever made and therefore the mascot for the species as well as a story character 
• Zambi is naturally quite warry of male equines, she often views them as being naturally aggressive, this is due to how she died (she was used as bait in illegal horse fights)

Zambi's upbringing and life is very horrible and grim for the entirety. She was born into a facility which practiced the illegal sport of horse fighting. When Zambi was old enough she would be put into the ring with two aggressive male stallions to act as bait to start the fights. She got hurt and attacked badly several times, her wounds were never cared for properly so often got very infected. The last horse fight she was apart of ended her life. Instead of fighting each other the stallions ended up attacking her brutally until she ended up bleeding to death. Zambi couldn't escape due to how neglected and weak she was from previous wounds. She ended up dying alone in the dirt and then her body is just tossed out into a ditch with other dead horse bodies. 

Nearly 200 years later Zambi woke up and clawed her way out of the ground and through the rubble of the old horse fighting building. The building had been abandoned and therefore fell into disrepair until it finally collapsed. Once a Visnoid Zambi left the area of torture and horrible memories to create herself a new life. She finds a forest which is where she ends up staying and started to figure out how to survive out in the wild. 

Over a few years in the forest she meets one of her closest friends, Horizon, a large male bird who forms a mutually benefitable relationship with her. Horizon helps guide Zambi and warn her of any danger before it comes to her. In return Zambi allows Horizon to eat part of the meals she finds/ hunts with his help she also keeps him safe by fighting any danger. The pair remain together alone for quite some time in the forest until Horizon finds a small abandoned puppy on the brink of death. At first Zambi couldn't really care less about the creature, she doesn't really want the responsibility of raising a pup as well as the fact the only dogs she had ever previously met were aggressive towards her keeping her from escaping the horse fighting facility. Despite this Zambi does end up raising the pup, she names him Bacardi and actually ends up really caring a lot about him. However, when Bacardi gets older he increasingly gets more and more interested in the outside world and he wants to hang out with another stray dog he found in the forest, Louisiana. Zambi hates Lou and this ends up with Zambi very aggressively telling Bacardi to get lost, although once he leaves she regrets what happens a lot and she ends up missing him more than she could have anticipated. 

After telling Bacardi to leave Zambi decides she no ,longer wants to be apart of any sort of group or adopt anyone else to stay with her and Horizon.
