Physical Description
These strange creatures are a mix of the American Shorthair and Wyverns. They only have two legs, with their front legs having morphed into large, powerful wings like a bird. The wings, unlike that of a Wyvern, are covered with a soft layer of fur. They have long, rounded tails, round heads, and thick, stocky back legs. Their ears are large and rounded. Their eyes are round and large. Their tail provides most of their balance as they walk on their back legs. They do not have a mane but have a thick ruff of fur around their cheeks.

Behavior
The most difficult to train of all species, the Aeruk were considered the pets of the rich. Only the richest of the rich owned them, and they were often used like high-class hunting dogs. They were also used for pit fighting, where two Aeruk would be pitted against each other and often fight to the death. Because of their propensity to fight, Aeruk often breed via artificial insemination, because they would rather fight than breed. Very difficult to train and highly intelligent, the Aeruk is definitely not for everyone. Taming one is nearly impossible. Obligate carnivores, they must eat a huge amount of meat each day due to their fast metabolism.
