Kirin

General info
The Kirin were the next stage of combat cyborgs after the Mustang, returning to speed and agility rather than brute force. Kirin is a genetic mess. Its intelligence is barely above animal level; it cannot speak or comprehend complex commands. It is sexless and referred to as ‘it’ instead of 'he’ or any other human pronoun. Like all Kirin, its killer instincts were heightened and this has made it nearly impossible to control. It was learned that if left unsupervised, the Kirin turn on and cannibalize their weaker/injured members.

Kirin is in a constant state of trying not to slaughter the entire company.

Abilities
A combat cyborg designed for speed, Kirin was built with the newly rediscovered acceleration technology. It has no long range weapons but was meant to be one itself, equipped with metal talons for the purpose of tearing apart enemies at accelerated speeds. It has lazer-based sensor arrays built into its ears and attached into its sight targeting system.

Bio
When the Kirin in 7771's barracks grew unruly, it was pulled aside by the Four guards and made an example of by beating it into submission. The Kirin fell back into order with this display, but the guard foolishly threw Kirin 7771 back to its fellows where they, sensing its injuries, turned on it and attempted to kill it. Kirin 7771, in panic, managed to accelerate and smash through several of the barriers put up around the barracks and escaped into the wilderness.

Kirin was found in the wastes by Albert Heinrich and nursed back to supposed health. Against York's warnings, Albert kept Kirin and allowed it to tag along with them where it began to display actual affection towards him and Shasta. However, after a battle against some abominations Kirin began to fall behind. It was suffering from various intenternal injuries and even after getting it to the hospital in the City of the Eights there was no hope for it. They made Kirin as comfortable as they could and Albert sat with it until it died.
