•   Diego grew up in a very science-focused family. His mother went to   Pandora for a time while his father was a biomechanical doctor. His   oldest sister was an Avatar driver and the second oldest went into   reviving extinct animals. When it was his turn to choose a field, he   decided to reunite with his sister on Pandora by becoming a link   assistant. When his training was over and he took the 6 year voyage, he   was greeted with sad news-his favorite sibling had died a year earlier   in a skirmish between the Na'vi and RDA. A soldier had mistaken her  for  one of the natives and killed her. This started his hatred for the  hired  guns, but he did not show it until the war. Who would know the  quiet  but extremely tall man would turn against his fellow man once the  war  broke out?
     But turn he did. He went around with the guns he  hated so  much, dispatching all the camo-suited men that came across his  path as  soon as all hell broke loose at Hell's Gate. He took many  bullets,  loosing his dominant arm. He considers the loss worth the  satisfaction  of revenge.
     He is still found in the link room,  helping those who  still need the machines to link up with their  blue-skinned bodies. The  only differences are that he has switched a  lab coat for a Hawaiian  shirt and he has slowly been learning how to  use his left hand.
