Growing up, Ronan has always been the smart kid who aced all tests given to him. Though with other children finding his eyes scary, Ronan began to keep to himself and took up reading which soon became an often hobby. He wasn't too upset with it all, as he always had his mother to keep him company when he needed it. With his mother being a stay-at-home Mum, she was Ronan's number one and he stuck to her very tightly even through the beginning of his teenage years while his father worked hard in the police force. Unfortunately, at the age of 15, his Mother passed away due to a failure in a surgery.

This crushed Ronan's world as the only person he held so dearly left him. Even after the funeral, his father still had to work hard to support him and Ronan, causing Ronan to dive deeper into loneliness. He began to read more and more, letting the fantasy worlds take over his mind to bring him comfort and soon finding out about MMORPG games that lets you be in a whole different world.

Within over a year's time, his step mother came into his life suddenly, along with his step sister Jasmine. At first he didn't take it lightly, lashing out and becoming easily angered at anyone who tried to approach him. But soon enough he warmed up to Jasmine as the two found similar interests within one another and Ronan began to love and protect her. The step mother on the other hand was strict and the two bashed heads a lot; this soon began Ronan's rebellious phase which didn't get much notice from the parents.

The loneliness began to increase more and more as time went by and as he saw Jasmine favoured more between the two of them by both parents. His only saving grace was a friend he has made in school who seemed to enjoy his company. But with leaving school soon approaching and knowing that he would be soon leaving her behind. Ronan began to start thinking of running away.
