Poppy was born in Kanto but raised in Kalos since she was 2. She comes from a small family, only having 1 sibling and her moms. One of her moms is a fashion designer, while the other is a stay at home mom who takes care of Poppy's younger sister and helps Professor Sycamore sometimes with simple chores around his lab.
While you'd assume Poppy really likes the color black, she actually has been struggling to find herself and her style, feeling as though she should know this since one of her moms is a fashion designer. She keeps these feelings inside for fear of being more different from others than she already is.
On her Pokemon journey, Poppy hopes to discover herself and make a friend or two who will accept her for who she really is.
