After the wild animal attacks on the village result in the death of the schoolteacher, he is assigned to the town guard to watch for threats. One night, he disappears on watch, and sends his parents and the town into a frenzy looking for him.
Physical description: A skinny, golden-feathered Rhode Island Red rooster with long red feathers on his head and yellow eyes. He usually wears a brown vest with a white undershirt and black pants, along with a red and white scarf around his neck. He sometimes wears a straw hat.
