Cailleabhre-mai

A wanderer amongst the waking realm who sells enchanted objects with its partner. Cailleabhre-mai is a haunting, almost intimidating sphinx with a decrepit figure and unsettling dead stare. It is known as Mai, Candelabra, or simply Ghost, Phantom, and other such related names by the common folk.

Their partner, Lumi, and they are nomads, travelling alongside their own portable merchant stall and taking in the sights of different places. Lumi much prefers the woods, and so does Mai, but it quite likes wheatfields and overgrown plains of grass.

The tendrils that infest his exposed ribs are not his own, but in reality, that of a mimic inhabiting its insides. Attained from a rather nasty mistake in a dungeon, Cailleabhre now bears the burden of an ever-hungry mimic sapping away at their energy and nutrients, keeping them looking scarily emaciated.

Through a number of potions and enchantments, Cailleabhre still retains most of her physical and mental strength. However, what's left of her emotionally is rather scarce. He lashes out often and is known to be forbidding towards others; not on purpose, but out of pain and frustration at his predicament. The only person he rarely holds bitterness to is Lumi.
