Acidtrip was created only a few years before the war. He lived with 2 sisters, Charcoal and Deadeye. He found his fascination with experimentation back when the war first began, when Deadeye took in an injured Autobot into their home. He took apart the mech and then tried to put them back together like you would a toy robot. He shot out Deadeye's left eye when she stumbled in on his experimentation and not long after both of his sisters abandoned him. Leaving him to hone his skills.

He uses gases in order to subdue his enemies. He's most known for his hallucinogenic gas that makes mechs hallucinate, paranoid, violent, and disoriented. He has a multitude of other gases such as gas that makes mechs fall asleep, acidic gas, a gas that can paralyze foes, a gas that can hinder a mech's ability to see, etc.

One day while he was scavenging through an abandoned battlefield - probably to find new test subjects - he found a femme named Mooncrater, the most surprising part is that she was still alive despite her injuries. He decided to take her back to his lab and repair her. After Mooncrater was repaired, she had nowhere to stay so Acidtrip took her in. He helped her transition into a mech named Circuitbreaker and gave him body modifications so he could properly fight and defend himself. Circuitbreaker vowed to protect Acidtrip as his way of saying thanks.
