Mido is absolutely obsessed with helping people, to a point that he will pass out trying to help someone. He beleives if he does enough to help people it'll make up for the horrible things he's done. He often reminds himself of them, and continues to push himself past his limits.
He's seen a therapist and found support, but he still tries to help others when he can, opting to volunteer for commmunity service as a healthier outlet for these desires.

- He doesn't go into his Leviathan form often! He's very afraid of it, and only does it for Mirin or defense.
- PLEASE don't draw him without clothes unless he's in the water!

As a small child, he accidentally destroyed a city, claiming the lives of thousands, his parent included. He didn't mean to, but when your parent doesn't tell you your dad was a huge dragon who had to leave to protect your family, you kinda don't expect to become a gigantic sea serpent.
For a while, Mido ran off and stayed in the sea, believing himself to be a horrible monster that doesn't deserve to be with people. There, he met Mirin, and rescused them from certainly drowning. They helped him slowly come to terms that what happened was an accident, and what happened happened. He's reintroduced himself to society 17 years later, with the help of Mirin, and intentions of atoning for his past mistake.
He's intersted in becoming the best person he can be, often times being a shoulder to cry on, or a friend to lean on. Money has almost no meaning to him considering he's content to just live in the sea at any given time, but he keeps up a stable home for his partner and roommate.
He loves to draw and write, usually in relation to his studies. Knowledge is a very useful and powerful thing to him, and he wants to be able to know enough to be useful in any situation, despite how impossible that may be.
Mido can summon black tendrils from his arms/back!!! These help him smack things around, grab things from a distance, or keep others at a distance!
He can also summon lightning from his dangly head thing, mouth, and anything that glows!!! He may redirect with with any part of his body.
Mido can become a Leviathan. He's huge and terrifying, absolutely fucking massive, and could level a city with a swing of his tail, not that he would (on purpose).
Mirin fell victim to Mido's watery little puppy eyes. Mido at first only wanted to help them but... well, emotions have a way of working wonders. They've been dating for nearly 5 years now and Mido couldn't be happier! He loves to take Mirin out to sea, especially in the early mornings. Mirin is his reminder that he can do good in this world.
They're good friends They met at the library over a book about powers evolving, and have been close since then! They often discuss theories and such over tea! Monty has shown Mido how to take good notes, and has given him his own notebook! They'll people watch together sometimes, although Mido gets a little bored.
