(hello and thank you for reading, this current iteration of scorns story is a bit of a work in progress and will inevitably be touched up several times but until then this is the most up to date version, as well as with this being a dungeons and dragons oc there is always a possibility of revision and changes later on)

Uriah āscornā stentorian, a name made to cast evil in flood light, burn a hole in the net of helplessness and despair, and rattle your eardrums into a fine powder and blow it in your face! An aspiring bard/musician who once lived in fort lauderdale Florida but passed from his mortal coil into the realm of Aulung* as an angel/assimar destined to make right by his once harmful lifestyle by aiding the helpless to earn his way to heaven
A task given to him by this worlds lord of death and creation seikatsu* who gifted him a weapon made for the gods known as āparadise lostā a beautiful gold and white V shaped guitar adorned with golden accents and strings and infused with magic. His mission from seikatsu: earn 1 feather each from aiding 50,000 people to complete his skeletal wings and fly to heaven. If he dies, loses his guitar, or breaks it the lord of death promises to drag him to hellā¦
So with the threat grace of a god scorn sets off to better the lives of anyone in need meeting a plethora of friendly faces, fierce foes, and funny folk eventually meeting with and teaming up with his boyfriendĀ leviathanĀ and best friendĀ velvetĀ
His methods may be unorthodox, and his attitude may never fully cease, but one way or another heāll earn his wings of freedom

Before death backstory
Scorn was born On October 23rd 1990 in the town of fort lauderdale Florida to a family with a long line of militaristic fathers with core christian beliefs, even the bad kinds, his father named him Uriah meaning āthe light of godā
As he grew older Uriah would suffer bullying from his peers and family for things like his hair length, his love for rock music and singing, and how he chose to dress. The worst from his father who wanted him to be a straight edge, god fearing, future soldier to continue his family's tradition of serving
Weather from the pressure from and resentment of his father or the need to defend from his peers, Uriah became a ruthless bully near the end of his middle school life tormenting anyone he felt he could and taking up a prominent smoking habit at 13, making those who feared him dub him with the nickname the āfog demonā. He hid everything he loved and enjoyed from his parents and most of his friends
However, one day while Uriah wasn't home his parents searched his room after having some suspicions about their son and unfortunately their suspicions were correctā¦ finding his stash of cigarettes, alcohol bottles, andā¦ several copies of certain magazines intended for female readers.
Outraged by their findings and discovery of their son's sexuality, they immediately kicked him out leaving him on the streets at age 15. Now as a homeless kid his behavior became much worse taking his aggression out physically to anyone he knew he could win against and chain smoking all hours of the day to dull the pain
By age 17 he had made the lives of his homeless shelter miserable, dropped out of school, and never let anyone get close to him. Had several police run ins and bans from corner stores, no money, no job, Ā all he had was parties, cigarettes, alcohol, and fighting
But it would all come to an end one night during a party, during the day scorn felt his health dwindle and ended up coughing blood and collapsing on the floor falling unconscious,
He was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with stomach cancer. Ā During his stay he went through painful chemotherapy making him lose all of his hair that he loved so much and the cancer heavily limited what he could eat. But unfortunately after a year he grew weaker and weaker until the fateful day he succumbed to his illness and passed away to wake up in the fantastical world of Aulung by the lord of death himself
Come hell or high water scorn vowed to complete his task and finally have the full control over his life he sought after for so long
