The Alo are a species of space foragers, known for commandeering ghost ships for their fleet--having long since left their home planet in ruin. They can be aggressive when cornered, but tend to keep to themselves. They are imposingly large, with keen senses (especially vision), and communicate in a combination of verbal language and chirps/clicks. Their fleets travel in 'packs', functioning similarly to wolves in terms of hierarchy. All value is measured in ghost ships salvaged and occupied, with family units/blood relatives often occupying the same crafts. There is limited family structure--a parent will likely linger close to their offspring for some years, but there is no intimate child rearing or affection shown.
Despite their massive talon-like claws, they are capable of intricate tinkering, often using their claw-tips like tweezers for detailed work. They are generally quite large, muscular, and tall--with fleshy hide ranging in color and patterning. While often seen as brutes for their sometimes volatile ways of violence, they are actually intelligent scavengers that have learned to survive by whatever means necessary. Their bodies have even evolved to eat just about anything--even rotting flesh or wood. In space they eat what they can get, but always have a natural sweet tooth due to a constant need for energy.
Personality:
Sifa is fairly quiet and stoic; tending more to silently observe from the periphery than to partake in conversation or interaction. While many tend to assume he is bad news by his size and appearance, he is not necessarily unkind. Treat him with respect and appeal to his moral values, and you will have yourself a capable ally willing to watch your back so long as you watch his. He respects strength and skill, however that may develop in someone, and especially likes anyone that knows how to tinker with technology. He's confident, will never back down from a challenge, even with his handicaps.
Story:
Living among the Alo, Sifa was always expected to be capable and reliant from a young age. Even as a young Alo he was climbing scrap heaps and rummaging through dead ships for repairs, living mostly on his own but in loose collaboration with his parent and blood relatives. They salvaged their own ship to join the Alo fleet, with Sifa acting as primary defense, being one of the largest on his ship. But not all Alo got along, and after another crew's ship was destroyed in an asteroid field, they attempted to take Sifa's ship by force. It was survival of the fittest among the Alo--most of Sifa's crew submitted to the stronger crew, but Sifa refused. He was too proud; challenging the crew on his own. He was defeated, losing his arm in the process, but was not put to death. Instead, the Alo crew cast Sifa off to T.R.A.S.H Planet.

Additional Info:
- He stands at 7'2" in height, weighing over 300 lbs. Despite this, he is still very agile, thanks to his long hooved legs.
- His third eye on his forehead is usually closed, unless he's trying to see in the dark or taken by surprise.
- His voice is deep and gravely and he doesn't always understand what others are saying, due to the Alo's tendency to incorporate sounds into their language. This can make it difficult for him to always convey emotion--generally his voice is rather deadpan.
- He will stab you with his hooves if he has to, he doesn't even gaf.
- At times he may have trouble breathing, if the air is particularly light, since he grew up only used to artificial atmo.
