He is weary of living and working all the time. Life took a toll on him since he was young, as he slaved away at menial tasks forced on him by surrounding adults. He fears living to a ripe old age with his mind intact, so much so that he feels every day he is driven to insanity - a living paradox, as his acquaintances would call him. He makes sure to never make friends. It was too bad one acquaintance would not bugger off, despite only receiving a scathing glare every day.
