🏮Kirai [EFNF]'s Links
“as much as I hate all these noisy creatures sticking around… she might actually be not so bad. perhaps we could get along someday, just not yet.”
Deyanira's library is always a safe space for me when things get too much. It's nice and quiet in there. She doesn't pry (and I appreciate that) and I know she will be there even if I don't feel like telling her what's wrong.
Kirai is certainly an interesting individual, she's got quite the attitude but I think that's what makes me fond of her. She's been hurt before much like my own experience and I understand where it comes from, a way to protect herself from others trying to use her. I try to keep an eye on her when I can and offer some semblance of comfort and care if I'm let.
Even if I would never actually tell her to her face, Yuzuki is a good friend. I love spending time with her in her valley and her accepting and non-judgemental nature makes her easy to be around. Even if I may never truly let my guard down around her, I have a feeling I can trust her, even if just a little bit.
Kirai visits my sanctum sometimes, I think she's really enjoyable to be around. Even if at the start of our interactions she was rather, standoffish! I can't leave my home, however, she tells me the outside isn't very exciting. I'm hopeful that she visits more often! Maybe one day she'll realize friendships aren't always a detriment. As I cherish what we have built together over time, maybe she feels the same!
“I’ve heard rumours of the Citadel and the so called ‘Sovereign of Slaughter’ that resides within it. I think his reputation proceeds him since I’m still alive after having stumbled upon those ancient ruins. Others say he is simply a monster to be feared - but everyone needs a little company every now and then, even me. And even if his taste in drinks is disgusting, he’s got a decent selection of sweet ones too.”
" Another wandering soul that entered the Citadels on a testament to fate. Sheer accident, funny how things work. I digress, Kirai is a strong spirit, yet the company is something I find content amidst the stagnant ruin of my territory. It is evident that her emotional wall is an attempt at hiding something. As much as my curiosity gnaws to see what's inside, I will behave... Unless I can produce enough sweets to earn more than one word responses. "
