The first of the seven mini bosses the hero party needs to defeat before being able to enter the demon king's castle, Doro guards an underwater temple hosting an artifact that can control storms.
Doro was chosen as a guardian after proving herself the best fighter in her city, many centuries ago. She's been alone for a very long time....

Blessing of the Storm
Halfway through her boss fight Doro calls upon the power of her artifact, summoning whirlpools to assist her.

Doro's main weapon is her trident, attacking in long reaching sweeps and stabs.
Personality
Arrogent | Brave | Playful
Competitive from a young age, Doro strives to be the best warrior around. She's hardworking and proud of where her training gets her. She respects those stronger than her and values strength more than the distinction between friend or foe.
Design Notes
- She has pointy shark-like teeth.
- She has gills lining her ribcage, allowing her to breathe clearly in the water.
- Her nails can be drawn like regular human nails or sharper.
Backstory
When Doro first became a guardian there was a thriving merfolk city not far from the temple, and her friends visited her regularly. But as time passed Doro outlived everyone who once knew her, and the population of the city dwindled. People stopped visiting the temple. It's busy halls grew emptier and emptier until Doro was the only one left.
Now Doro's only interaction with other people is the regular check-up calls between her and the other guardians and occasional adventurers coming by to challenge her. She tries not to let it get her too down and is constanly picking up and dropping new hobbies to fill the time.

Trivia
- The first timeline the hero party kill her to get to the artifact but the action stays as one of Conn's biggest regrets and they never use the trident they gain from that fight. The second time around they try a different approach
- The hobbies she's picked up and dropped over the years have included: fostering an underwater garden, creating her own board games, painting murals, designing weapons to be as cool looking but as useless as possible, building elaborate sandcastles, and cooking.
- A sore loser when it comes to games but the opposite when fighting.
