Flamboyant and flirtatious, and sweet enough to sweep anyone off their feet, Taito rose to idol status in Japan quite naturally. He has great singing and dancing talent, but even more than that he has the talent to charm anyone. He was discovered by a talent agency, and he put a lot of time and his own money into becoming a star. Now he is a face recognized by makoatls all across the country. His talent agency paired him with idol Ryu, whose own career was going downhill thanks to his bad attitude. Taito was able to bring Ryu back to popularity again, something that Ryu actually resents him for, because Ryu views him as naive (which is true), airheaded, impetuous, and inexperienced. The two partners have a very poor relationship, despite Taito's best efforts, and despite the fact that Taito was once a big fan of Ryu himself.

➥ Kazumi - Kaz is one of Taito's best friends, and they have been friends since childhood, although they didn't live nearby - they met when Kaz's parents took him to Tokyo on vacation, and most of their childhood was spent corresponding through the mail. Now that Kaz is an adult and lives in Tokyo himself, he and Taito try to spend a lot of time together, although Taito's fame really gets in the way. Kaz was the much wilder one when they were young, but he has settled down a bit, and now Taito is definitely more spirited than he is, but Taito brings out the funlover in him and they get into a lot of silly trouble. When they're together, they frequently break social etiquette and sometimes it gets Taito in trouble with his job. One of their favorite pastimes is going to arcades together.
➥ Ryu - Taito's partner Ryu is older and grumpier than he would like. They don't see eye to eye on anything, from music to food, so living with each other every day like they do puts a lot of stress on the both of them. Despite it all, Taito adores Ryu with his whole heart, and he would give anything for Ryu to acknowledge him as his partner.
