- His mother is Clair, the daughter of Sagremor's half-sister. Hates his mother with a passion
- Eventually becomes emperor of Constantinople
- One of the twelve Knights of the Round Table to share in the final Grail banquet at Carbonek
- Became a knight at 15 and was known for his maturity and foresight
- Avoids violence whenever possible, prefers settling things with words...or magic
- One of the more magically gifted knights due to being half (unicorn)
- Germaphobe and hypochondriac who always assumes he's catching whatever illness he witnesses in someone else...even though mundane illnesses can't affect him
- Known for bathing & washing his hands multiple times a day. Obsessively clean and avoids touching others as much as possible. Arthur is the exception, though he tries not to make this apparent...
- Very serious fear of bugs and anything creepy crawly, will tear up reflexively when he sees one. Then demand for the nearest person to kill it immediately regardless of their age. Normally a nigh fearless knight but he will run and cry
- The original Elyan was exiled along with Lancelot- so he tries to keep his distance from Arthur out of shame but is always leaving him little notes and gifts, often in the form of sweets that he has baked
- Very skilled artisan and craftsman. It's a hobby of his and he likes to sew the others' clothes or make them jewelry. Eilyan also makes dolls and toys for the children he comes across if he has time
- Despite his love for him, he is one of the few knights who accepted Arthur's plea to kill him if he ever gives into his draconic side. Of course he hopes it never comes to that...
