- Once she was well established in her new boutique, Ran started seeing a psychologist to talk about her past relationship and especially to make sure she never falls back into anything toxic again. She doesn't hide this information, if asked she wouldn't hesitate to talk about it quickly and make sure to encourage anyone who feels the need to ask for help to do so, but few people think she sees one.
- She still regularly goes down into the undergrounds to fight, wishing to find the pleasure she once found there and to surpass what Melody had made of her.
- A client once asked her what the "story of her background" was. Finding the wording peculiar, she decided to tell the story of two tea boxes that were behind her. Since then, it has become a running gag between her and her customers and the story has grown to include almost every item in her store.
- She hates anything spicy. Not just dishes with chili, anything with a little bit of spice, just paprika chips would be too strong for her.
- She regularly visits her father's grave and talks about her week, what's going on in her store and often thanks him for passing on his passion, as it is thanks to him that she has a tea shop now.
Melody maintained control over me for a very long time. Too long. I can't count the number of things she did that were just wrong and harmful but still seemed normal to me at that time. Getting out of that relationship was very complicated but I can now say that I feel better.
Dad always gave his all for both of us. Even though he had to work two jobs to support us, he always made sure to spend at least some time with me on his days off, despite the fatigue and pressure of responsibilities. He also took advantage of these moments to return to his passion, tea. And that's how he passed on to me his knowledge and his taste for this drink.
When Loïlo was still at home and everything was going well, I remember how loving she was. Of course, this memory was very much altered by her frequent fights with dad and her leaving without warning neither him nor me to go off with a guy who had just a little more money in his wallet, leaving his own daughter in need. Dad often told me that if one day I had the opportunity to go back to her I should, to show her that I was fine and that I had succeeded in life. But maybe he was able to forgive her, not me. The further away she is from me the better I am.
I don't know if her last name is still Sakura and I don't know either if I would prefer her to change or not.
