Iris is a curious and stubborn girl. Her bottom half is of a stong and courageous tiger, but instead of stripes she has tattoo-like marks that follow her fur. Just like everyone else of her species, her tattoos are unique and singular; and just like other Lestros, as she grows up she continues to tattoo her non tiger skin, adorning it with important symbols.
Íris, like other Lestros, has no human arms. All of her writing and manipulation of objects are done with her tiger paws. When needed, friends of other species around her can help with tasks. Her dark curly hair is usually tied back from her face with a colorful and cheerful fabric that the Mapitupí (a satyr clan that lives close by) gave to her. The golden jewlery are all products of the Lestro people.
